Frank believes that the situation isn’t static and you will never know if it will continue to uphold the constitution or not.  Despite Hugh Hewitt’s misgivings believing that we are headed eventually towards ‘same-sex marriage’, Frank counters that it isn’t set in stone.

On the future of the Catholic Church Frank touched on the possibility of bishops coming out and condemning the Sotomayer nomination saying that the Church would be hesitant in not wanting to push away Hispanic.  [Which I say is nonsense considering that the vast majority of hispanics are conservative].

Finally on his path to the Church it seems it was more of an intellectual process in which Tradition was the first obstacle to overcome after reading the early fathers and realizing how Catholic they were in practice and teaching.

Good stuff.  Frankly, I was a little surprised that Hugh Hewitt would interview a Catholic convert, but it goes to show how important the Church is in the culture wars.
